About Dawn Carter:
Dawn Carter joined Amazon.com in October 2005 as the Senior Manager
of University Programs and Diversity. She has been leading university & diversity programs for over
12 years with companies such as Northrop Grumman, Teradyne and Walt Disney Imagineering & Disney
Development Company. She has served and led Industry Advisory Boards for minority & women engineering
programs at multiple universities. She has presented numerous professional development workshops
at national conferences for SWE, NSBE, and SHPE. She received her bachelor’s degree from Cal Poly
Pomona, and holds a certificate in Human Resources from UCLA.
